About me

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Social Systems Lab at Dartmouth College, working with Thalia Wheatley on the behavioral markers of social connectedness. Beginning Fall 2019, I will be an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Virginia.

I earned my PhD in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where I studied the perception, social functions, and cultural shapers of nonverbal signals with my advisor, Paula Niedenthal. My B.A. is from Colorado College, where I majored in psychology with distinctions and minored in music. I am a proud Kansas Citian and lover of dogs, oil painting, piano, and skiing.
